1Who we are and our role

Operation Destinations is a travel agency operated by Robert Thornes and affiliated with Marina Pacifica Travel ("Operation Destinations," "we," "us"). We act only as a booking agent for independent suppliers ("Suppliers"). These include tour operator ALG Vacations® and its brands, such as Apple Vacations, Funjet Vacations, Travel Impressions, United Vacations, and Blue Sky Tours. They also include the VAX VacationAccess booking platform, airlines, resorts, transfer companies, excursion providers, and wedding and event vendors.

We do not own, operate, manage, or control any Supplier or the services they provide.

2Acceptance of these terms

By paying a deposit or booking through the group event page or directly with us, each traveler ("Guest") agrees to these Terms & Conditions and to the Supplier terms described below. A person booking for others confirms they are authorized to accept these terms for every traveler on the reservation and will share these terms with them.

Guests must be at least 18 years old to book. Minors must travel with a parent or legal guardian or with documented consent.

3Supplier terms apply

Your travel is also governed by each Supplier's terms. These include ALG Vacations' booking terms, the resort's group and wedding policies, and each airline's contract of carriage. Those terms control deposits, payments, cancellation and change penalties, refunds, and liability for the services each Supplier provides. Where a Supplier's terms conflict with ours about that Supplier's services, the Supplier's terms apply. Copies are available on request.

  • Payments must be received by 5:00 PM Eastern on each due date. Reservations not paid by a due date may be cancelled, and all payments made will be forfeited.
  • Group rates apply only to rooms in the contracted block. Rooms booked after January 5, 2027 are subject to availability and priced at the prevailing rate.
  • Group rates are per person, include hotel taxes, and are based on the arrival date. Arriving on a different date may change the rate.
  • Round-trip airport transfers are included in the booking price.
  • Prices do not include destination-imposed fees such as environmental, tourism, security, or departure taxes, which are collected locally and cannot be prepaid. Gratuities, airline baggage fees, and optional services are also not included unless stated in writing.
  • Payments are made by credit card through the event page or a secure payment link and are processed by ALG Vacations. They appear on your statement under the Supplier's name.

5Agency service fees

Any Operation Destinations service, change, or cancellation fee will be disclosed in writing before you book. Agency fees are separate from Supplier penalties and are non-refundable once services have been provided, whether or not travel takes place.

6Cancellations and changes

All cancellations and changes must be sent to Operation Destinations in writing. The cancellation date is the date we receive your written notice.

Cancellation penalties. Cancellation and change penalties are set by the resort, ALG Vacations, airlines, and other suppliers, and are applied according to each supplier's policies. For this group, cancellations received on or before January 14, 2027 are not subject to resort penalties. Beginning January 15, 2027, penalties apply and increase as the arrival date approaches. Depending on when you cancel and how many other rooms in the group have cancelled, penalties may be up to 100% of your reservation cost. From April 1, 2027, all cancellations are subject to a 100% penalty. Airline, travel protection, and agency fees follow their own terms and may be non-refundable. Guests who purchase Travel Protection Plus may be eligible for reimbursement under that plan's terms.

  • Travel protection premiums and agency fees are non-refundable at any time.
  • Name changes are subject to resort and airline approval. A $50 per person fee applies once travel documents are issued. No changes of any kind are allowed within 7 days of arrival.
  • Date, room, and occupancy changes are subject to availability and may change your price or cause airfare to be re-priced or forfeited. Resorts limit single-occupancy rooms within the group and may charge them at the double-occupancy rate.
  • No refunds are given for no-shows, late arrivals, early departures, or unused services.
  • Refunds, when due, are issued by the Supplier on its own timeline.

7Group block and group benefits

This wedding is booked as a contracted group with a minimum room requirement. Guests understand that:

  • Cancellations can drop the group below its minimums, which may cost the group its rates, complimentary rooms, upgrades, or event inclusions.
  • Unsold rooms in the block may be released after January 5, 2027.
  • Rooms booked outside the group may not receive group rates and may be charged extra to attend group events.
  • Group perks are provided by the resort, are not guaranteed, and have no cash value.

8Wedding ceremony and events

  • Wedding packages, ceremonies, receptions, décor, photography, and related services are provided by the resort and its wedding coordinators or by independent vendors. Operation Destinations does not provide these services and is not responsible for their quality, timing, or performance.
  • Ceremony dates, times, and venues are confirmed by the resort's wedding department. The resort may move an event for weather, safety, or operational reasons.
  • Legal marriage requirements in the Dominican Republic, including documents, translations, witnesses, and fees, are the couple's responsibility. Operation Destinations is not responsible for the legal validity of any marriage.
  • Outside vendors may require resort approval and vendor fees.

9Travel protection

We strongly recommend that every Guest buy travel protection covering cancellation, interruption, delays, medical expenses, and medical evacuation. Many U.S. health plans do not cover care outside the United States. ALG Vacations' Travel Protection Plus must be added within 7 days of booking and is non-refundable once purchased.

Each Guest will be asked to accept or decline travel protection in writing. Guests who decline accept full financial responsibility for losses insurance might have covered. Insurers decide claims under their own policy terms.

10Passports and entry requirements

  • Each Guest is responsible for a valid passport. We recommend at least six months of validity beyond your return date.
  • Reservation names must exactly match each Guest's passport. Review your documents and report errors right away; correction fees may apply.
  • Guests are responsible for entry and exit forms, fees, and documents for minors traveling without both parents.
  • No refunds are given for travel missed because of missing or improper documents. Check current requirements at travel.state.gov before departure.

11Air travel

Air travel is subject to each airline's contract of carriage. Airlines may change schedules or cancel flights without notice. Operation Destinations is not responsible for schedule changes, delays, missed connections, overbooking, baggage issues, or seat assignments. Some airlines charge for check-in help at the airport when online check-in is available.

We recommend arriving at least one day before any wedding event. Guests who book their own flights are responsible for coordinating them with the group's dates.

12Health, safety, and accessibility

Guests are responsible for judging their own fitness for travel and for reviewing U.S. State Department advisories and CDC guidance for the destination. Requests for accessible rooms, dietary needs, or medical accommodations will be passed to the resort but cannot be guaranteed.

13Assumption of risk

Travel involves risks, including from swimming, water sports, excursions, and alcohol. Guests voluntarily assume these risks to the fullest extent permitted by law. Excursions are run by independent operators under their own terms and waivers.

14Guest conduct

Resorts and Suppliers may refuse service to or remove any Guest whose conduct is unsafe, disruptive, unlawful, or damaging. Guests are responsible for damage they cause. No refunds are given for removal due to conduct.

15Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Operation Destinations is not liable for injury, illness, death, loss, damage, delay, cancellation, or expense caused by any Supplier or other third party, or by events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim about our own services is limited to the agency fees paid to us for the affected booking. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Nothing in these terms limits any right that cannot be waived under New Jersey or other applicable law.

16Force majeure

Neither Operation Destinations nor Suppliers are responsible for failures caused by events beyond reasonable control. These include hurricanes and severe weather, natural disasters, epidemics, government actions, travel restrictions, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, utility failures, and airline disruptions. Refunds or credits in these cases follow Supplier policies and any travel protection purchased.

17Payment disputes and chargebacks

Please contact us first about any billing concern. By booking, Guests confirm they have reviewed the payment and cancellation terms and that charges made under these terms are authorized. A chargeback for charges made under these terms may result in cancellation of the reservation and collection of amounts owed, as permitted by law.

18Complaints

Report problems during travel to the resort or Supplier right away so they can be fixed on site. Complaints to Operation Destinations must be made in writing within 30 days after your return.

19Privacy

We use your personal information to make and service your booking and share it with Suppliers, insurers, and government authorities only as needed for your travel. We do not sell your personal information.

20Photos and social media

Operation Destinations may share photos or videos from group events on its website or social media. We will not publish identifiable images of a Guest without that Guest's consent, and Guests may opt out at any time.

21Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by New Jersey law. Before filing any claim, both sides agree to try to resolve the dispute informally in good faith for at least 30 days. Any legal action will be brought in the state courts in Atlantic County, New Jersey, or in small claims court where eligible, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

22General terms

  • These terms, the Supplier terms, and your booking confirmation are the entire agreement between you and Operation Destinations for this booking.
  • If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
  • The version of these terms in effect on the date of your deposit applies to your booking.
